Job summary

Saliense is seeking a seasoned security operations leader to join our growing team in Virginia. The role focuses on managing security operations, conducting penetration testing support, and guiding continuous diagnostics and mitigation efforts across the data lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will hold a BS in IT/CS, CISSP-ISSMP/ISSAP, and CNSE is a plus, with 10+ years of experience and 5+ years in leadership. We offer competitive benefits and strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience providing security operations and penetration testing support.
• Minimum 5 years’ managing and directing security operations.
• Experience implementing CCDM phases, baselining tools, and securing data lifecycle.
• Bachelor of Science in IT/CS or related field.
• CISSP-ISSMP and CISSP-ISSAP required; CNSE preferred.

• Lead and direct security operations and testing support across programs.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain security products and services throughout the lifecycle.
• Recommend and implement solutions for protecting data and systems.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience providing security operations and penetration testing support.
• Minimum 5 years’ managing and directing security operations.
• Responsible for the ability to implement the various phases of Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation, establishing baselines for security tools to ensure proper configuration and deployment, architecting, deploying, and maintaining security products and services, and recommending and implementing solutions for protecting data throughout its lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Certifications (required): Certified Information System Security Professional Information Systems Security Management Professional (CISSP-ISSMP), Certified Information System Security Professional Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP);
• Certifications (preferred): Certified Network Security Engineer (CNSE)
