Job summary

AirLife is seeking a Security Engineer – Security Operations & Incident Response to monitor, triage, and investigate security events across our global environment from Grand Rapids. You will lead incident response, containment, and recovery, and work with our MDR provider to mature detection and automation.

The role requires hands-on incident response, SIEM/EDR expertise, vulnerability management, and knowledge of Zero Trust and NIST/GDPR frameworks.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of security operations concepts, including SIEM, log analysis, and alert triage.
• Hands-on incident response leadership in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and investigate security events across AirLife’s environment.
• Lead incident response activities and post-incident reviews.
• Improve detection rules, alert quality, and playbooks to reduce false positives.
