Job summary

M-D Building Products, Inc is looking for an IT Security Administrator to maintain and enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture. You will monitor security systems, implement security technologies, and develop necessary policies.

The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in security report creation, technology implementation, and monitoring security systems, along with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and more.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience creating and maintaining security reports.
• 3-5 years of experience implementing security technologies.
• 3-5 years of experience monitoring security systems such as IDS, antivirus, and firewalls.
• 3-5 years of experience developing and maintaining security policies and procedures.
• 1-3 years of experience managing Microsoft 365.
• 1-3 years of experience with Azure Entra ID and Identity Access Management practices.
• 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting and configuring networking devices.
• 1-3 years of experience configuring and troubleshooting servers, storage, and datacenter systems.
• 1-3 years of experience utilizing remote access tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain security reports to identify vulnerabilities.
• Implement and manage security technologies including IDS and antivirus systems.
• Monitor security systems continuously to detect potential threats.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Administer Microsoft 365 environment and related services.
• Manage Azure Entra ID and implement IAM practices.
• Configure networking devices including switches and routers.
• Maintain and troubleshoot servers and storage systems.
• Utilize remote access tools for system administration.
• Manage helpdesk tickets ensuring proper categorization and resolution.
• Document security activities, procedures, and provide end-user training.
• Investigate root causes of security incidents.
• Communicate effectively with various management levels.
• Provide outstanding customer service and technical support.
