Island is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to own vulnerability and compliance scanning across web apps, infrastructure, and containers. You will work with engineering and compliance teams to drive remediation, automate workflows, and support FedRAMP monitoring.

The role requires 1–3 years in security operations, experience with Burp Suite/Nessus/Tenable, and familiarity with FedRAMP/NIST 800-53. Hybrid work model; in-office four days per week in Coppell, TX.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience in security operations or related field.
• Experience with at least one vulnerability scanner (Burp Suite, Nessus, Tenable).
• Understanding of FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain vulnerability scanning across web apps, infra, and containers.
• Run scans on a regular cadence and for releases, audits, and initiatives.
• Support FedRAMP continuous monitoring activities across US GovCloud environments.
• Assist with evidence collection and compliance tracking, including Jira tickets and artifacts.
• Produce reports and artifacts for internal and external auditors.
