The Security Operations Engineer III plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s information systems, networks, and critical infrastructure. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate assets by participating in all areas of information and network security, including intrusion detection, incident response, vulnerability management, application security, and compliance with corporate security policies. The engineer is responsible for implementing, operating, and continuously improving a variety of enterprise security technologies—such as DLP, Antivirus, IPS/IDS, Endpoint Protection, Database Activity Monitoring, and Web Application Firewalls. This position acts as a technical authority across Security Engineering, Network Engineering, and Security Operations, partnering with cross‑functional teams, internal clients, and external stakeholders. The role supports both strategic initiatives and daily operational security needs to maintain a secure, resilient, and compliant environment. It contributes directly to strengthening the organization’s security posture, improving processes, leading or participating in incident response, and enabling secure business operations.
Salary range: $79,800 - $108,000
