Job summary

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst at Cayuse Holdings, LLC monitors and analyzes security systems in a 24/7 SOC, responding to incidents and escalating as per SOPs. You’ll support access control, CCTV, alarms, and dispatch teams while maintaining thorough logs and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in SOC/Dispatch, DoD/IC background, Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph, and US citizenship. A strong focus on communication, organization, and compliance is essential in this role.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • 1–3 years in SOC/Command Center/Dispatch or monitoring.
  • DoD, IC, or Federal security ops experience preferred.
  • Experience with Lenel/CCure/Genetec/Honeywell or similar systems.
  • Experience with incident reporting databases.
  • Military, law enforcement, or federal security background.
  • Familiarity with Post Orders and Government security protocols.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Valid state driver’s license in good standing.
  • Background checks may be required; TAPAS assessment may be used.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion, alarms).
  • Receive, assess, document, and respond to security incidents in real time.
  • Dispatch security personnel and coordinate emergency response as needed.
  • Maintain accurate incident logs, reports, and shift documentation.
  • Perform badge verification and visitor access coordination.
  • Communicate with Government personnel, first responders, and internal staff.
  • Escalate incidents per SOPs, post orders, and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain situational awareness across multiple facilities and systems.
  • Support continuity of operations during emergencies or elevated threats.
  • Adhere to security, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Overview
The Work

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst plays a vital role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents within a 24/7 Security Operations Center environment. This position supports a range of physical, technical, and integrated security systems to safeguard personnel, facilities, and sensitive information. Acting as the frontline responder, the SOC Analyst handles alarms, incidents, and communications while ensuring timely escalation of issues in alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, alarms, radios, and telephony systems.
  • Receive, assess, document, and respond to security incidents in real time.
  • Dispatch security personnel and coordinate emergency response when required.
  • Maintain accurate incident logs, reports, and shift documentation.
  • Perform badge verification, visitor access coordination, and credential checks as applicable.
  • Communicate effectively with Government personnel, first responders, and internal stakeholders.
  • Escalate incidents in accordance with SOPs, post orders, and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain situational awareness across multiple facilities and systems simultaneously.
  • Support continuity of operations during emergencies or elevated threat conditions.
  • Adhere to all security, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications – Here’s What You Need
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in:
  • o Security Operations Center.
  • o Command Center.
  • o Dispatch / Watch Officer / Monitoring environment.
  • Prior experience supporting DoD, IC, or Federal security operations
  • Experience with:
  • o Lenel / CCure / Genetec / Honeywell or similar systems.
  • o Incident reporting databases.
  • Military, law enforcement, or federal security background.
  • Familiarity with Post Orders and Government security protocols.
  • Active Top Secret /SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
  • Due to the nature of work at the client's facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license in good standing.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
  • Completion of the Tailored Adaptive Personality Assessment System (TAPAS) will be required as part of the organization’s personnel assessment and placement process. The TAPAS assessment supports the evaluation of individual behavioral tendencies and work styles to ensure alignment with position requirements, mission objectives, and organizational values.

Working Conditions
  • Professional secure facility environment, with the ability to work onsite.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.

  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays. Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by mission needs.

  • Position involves prolonged periods of sedentary work, primarily monitoring screens.
  • Requires the ability to remain seated for extended durations and manage multiple systems simultaneously.

  • May necessitate occasional movement within secured facility areas.
