Software Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity professional with 5+ years in IT and at least 2+ years in information security to join a live SOC environment.

Responsibilities include triaging alerts, investigating incidents, and operating security tooling such as Splunk, Defender for Endpoint, and Sentinel. Strong scripting and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Formación

• Five (5+) plus years in IT with at least two (2) years in cybersecurity.
• Hands-on with cybersecurity tooling in production SOC environments.
• Experience triaging live alerts, investigating incidents, and using security tooling.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/AD, network security fundamentals, and scripting

• Triage IDS/EDR alerts and perform log analysis in a SOC setting.
• Investigate active incidents and coordinate response with cross-functional teams.
• Operate security tooling in production and mentor junior SOC staff.

Experience

Five (5+) plus years of experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of two (2) years in Information Security/Cybersecurity.

Prior experience working in a functioning SOC or equivalent security operations environment is valued, including hands-on work triaging live alerts, investigating active incidents, and operating security tooling in a production setting.

Required Experience (2+ years each):

SOC operations: IDS/EDR alert triage, log analysis, and network traffic interpretation using Splunk, Kibana, or Microsoft Sentinel

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint: alert triage, investigation, and response

Python 3 scripting for automation and SOC workflow support

Firewall operation and network security fundamentals

Required Experience (1+ years each):

Windows/Active Directory, endpoint log analysis, PowerShell, and group policies
