Job summary

CACI seeks a Security Operations Analyst to monitor and respond to threats across DoD systems using Elastic Security and other state-of-the-art tools. The role involves vulnerability scanning, cloud workload assessment, and endpoint management within a structured, security-focused team.

The position requires a secret/Top Secret clearance, 3–5 years of SOC experience, and DoD 8140 certifications. Expect quarterly travel to Scott Air Force Base and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance required.
• 3–5 years of SOC/ security operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with a SIEM (Elastic preferred).
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable preferred).
• Familiarity with firewall and network security monitoring.
• DoD 8140.03M DCWF Basic Tier certification required (or options).
• DoD 8140 interim education options accepted.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts using Elastic Security SIEM.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and assess cloud workloads.
• Manage endpoint security policies (MDE/Trellix ePO).
• Monitor network activity across Palo Alto firewalls.
• Analyze access traffic via Zscaler Private Access and Internet Access.
• Detect, document, and escalate incidents per procedures.
• Develop monitoring reports and security KPIs for leadership.
