Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–4 years of IT/cybersecurity or related tech experience.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and controls.
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Experience reviewing alerts, tickets, logs, and documenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, queues, emails, ITSM tickets, and Teams requests.
• Triage and investigate security events across endpoints, identity, email, and data movement.
• Review logs from SIEM, EDR, email security, web filtering, and DLP tools.
• Document findings with timestamps, evidence, impact, and remediation steps.
• Escalate high-risk issues to senior analysts or owners as needed.
• Assist with security-related identity requests and access troubleshooting.
• Support investigations of suspicious sign-ins, MFA issues, and admin activity.
• Participate in incident triage and containment coordination.
• Contribute to security projects and maintain clear technical documentation.
