Job summary

Securitas is holding open interviews for Security Officers at 2300 Pak Drive Suite 200, Owatonna, MN 55060. The role offers a wage of $21.00 per hour and seeks both full-time and part-time team members who are enthusiastic and professional.

Walk-ins are welcome as part of a growing security services team. Candidates should be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be capable of working independently while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Wage: $21.00/HR

Our Security helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. We are seeking full time and part time employees to join our Security Officer team! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to be a part of spearheading a rapidly growing industry. What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
