Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring Security Officers in New Albany, OH. Part-Time/Flex positions with shifts available. Starting pay is $22.85 per hour, with part-time flexible schedules and opportunities for up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include customer service, log maintenance of incidents, surveillance patrols, and incident response. Preferred candidates may have security, law enforcement, or military background and bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to meet physical essential functions (lifting 50+ lbs., patrols, stairs, weather).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered on duty.
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs for incidents and property.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies, and record data on incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Rover: foot or vehicle patrols and deter suspicious behavior or vandalism.
• Gate Officer: check in visitors, contractors, and inspect vehicles.

SECURITY OFFICERS

Part-Time/ Flex

ALL Shifts Available

You can work at least 24- 40hrs weekly, with flexible schedules and opportunities for full time.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs pertaining to incident reports, and property.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for buildings
• Other duties as assigned
• Rover : Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc.
• Gate Officer: Checking in visitors, contractors, inspecting vehicles, access control

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs., completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus
