Job summary

Security Solutions of America in Orlando, FL is seeking security officers for Central Florida. The role pays $14.50–$18.00 per hour and supports both full-time and part-time positions.

Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, patrolling premises, responding to alarms, and reporting daily activities. Candidates must be 18+, a U.S. citizen, pass background and drug screenings, and hold a Florida Class D license.

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property
