Job summary

Securitas is hiring multiple Security Officers for a resort client site in Ludlow, VT. The role includes access control, interior and perimeter patrols, CCTV monitoring, and strong customer service. New hires start with an October 1, 2026 start date; no prior security experience is required.

Pay ranges from $21.00/hr for Officers to $22.00/hr for Lead Officers. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain a Vermont Guard Card.

Qualifications

• Able to walk up to 5 miles per shift on a very large property.
• Proficient with computers and digital reporting.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Dependable, punctual, and observant.
• Comfortable initiating conversation and providing verbal engagement.
• Vermont Guard Card or ability to obtain prior to starting work.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• At least 18 years old.
• Non-smoking property; no smoking by any officer on or off duty.

Securitas is hiring for MULTIPLE Security Officers to help keep our resort client's site safe in Ludlow, VT.

This is a new client with an official start date of October 1st, 2026.

Pay

$21.00/hr (Security Officer)

$22.00/hr (Lead Officer)

Basic Requirements

• Able to walk up to 5 miles per shift - very large property inside and out
• Proficient with computers and digital reporting
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Dependable, punctual, and observant
• Comfortable initiating conversation and providing verbal engagement (e.g., greeting all who pass)
• Vermont Guard Card or the ability to obtain this prior to starting work
• Valid driver's license AND clean driving record
• At least 18 years old
• This is a NON-SMOKING property. No smoking of any kind is permitted from any officers on or off duty.

Primary Security Officer Duties

• Access control
• Interior and perimeter patrols
• CCTV monitoring
• Customer service and visitor support
• Logging Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports
• Vehicle patrols (MUST have a clean driving record!)
• Occasionally dealing with de-escalating unruly crowds in a professional manner

Emergency Response Duties

• Activate and follow site emergency protocols
• Support evacuations, lockdowns, and drills
• Serve as liaison to client contacts and first responders
