Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is seeking part-time Security Officers for Wentzville/Troy, MO. The role requires availability across mornings and evenings, including holidays, with the ability to respond to assignments on short notice.

Prior security or customer service experience is preferred, and physical fitness to stand and walk for periods is needed. Officers can earn a quarterly $100 Perfect Attendance Bonus by showing up for every shift committed to during the quarter.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional demeanor and appearance with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and use basic computer skills.
• Minimum one year of customer service or security experience; pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage guest/visitor access and eject trespassers when necessary.
• Verify credentials of individuals and vehicles entering or leaving.
• Maintain visitor logs and notify residents of arrivals.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol interior and exterior perimeter to identify safety risks.
• Respond to distress calls and emergencies and contact first responders.
• Enforce rules and report safety concerns to management.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

Flex Security (Part Time) Officers!

Wentzville / Troy, MO

$18.50 per hour

Applicants must Be Available Between Mornings AND Evenings and holidays, if needed.

Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

Previous experience in security OR customer service fields is preferred.

Officers who are available and present for every shift they commit to during the quarter are eligible for a $100 Quarterly Perfect Attendance Bonus.

Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

Security Officer Positions

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc.
• Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property, etc.
• Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, greeting residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor's arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management
