Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hosting open interviews for Security Officers in Lansing, MI. The role offers $17.00–$19.00 per hour with weekly/daily pay options and requires weekend availability.

Experience in security and customer service is valued, and eligibility includes a drug screen and background check. Candidates should be comfortable with computers, possess a valid Michigan driver’s license, and be able to meet licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of customer service experience.
• Must be proficient with computers and technology.
• Must have valid MI driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Security experience preferred.
• Must be available weekends.

Responsibilities

• Security Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
