Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring Security Officers/Guards in a full- and part-time capacity. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining security at client sites. You will observe, report, and respond to incidents, while ensuring safety and protecting property.

Weekend availability and an English-proficient background are required. Eligible candidates must have a valid Ohio driver’s license, pass a drug screen and background check, and meet licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must provide exceptional customer service at the first point of contact.
• Clear and effective communication is required.
• Basic computer skills necessary for daily tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license in good standing; no more than 2 moving violations in the last year.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites to ensure safety and security.
• Protect client property and personnel through vigilant security measures.
• Maintain vigilance through regular patrols, monitoring, and reporting.
• Handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds as needed.
