Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time shift in Ellendale, ND. You will perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and uphold client safety standards while delivering professional customer service, de-escalation, and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Attention to detail and vigilance during shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid judgment and escalation.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature as assigned for the site.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
