Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services U.S. in Plano, TX is now hiring a Security Officer for overnight weekends (6:00pm–6:00am, Saturday and Sunday). A valid driver’s license is required.

The company offers competitive hourly starting rates and DailyPay access, with a starting rate of $17.05 per hour. You will conduct patrols, monitor the facility perimeter, respond rapidly to incidents, and serve as the point of contact for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Willingness to undergo an extensive screening process.
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State license if required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate a stable work history.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct roving patrols of the facility perimeter to detect unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Act as point of contact for incidents and emergencies.
• Monitor property for rule infractions.
• Observe and report activity at the assigned location in detail.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Maintain clear, thorough written reports and enforce procedures.

About the job:

• You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.

Your background:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required.
• You are 21 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Have reliable transportation
• You have high customer service skills
