Allied Universal is seeking a Weekend Inspections Security Officer in Tempe, AZ. This part-time role offers a $21.00 per hour pay rate and a schedule that includes weekend daytime shifts.

You will monitor and patrol the site, provide excellent customer service, and report security concerns while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background checks per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; driver’s license for driving positions if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors by following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and abnormal situations in a calm, professional, and solution-focused manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the designated site, including business areas, entry points, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications to maintain security presence.

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology, media, and telecommunications location, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
