Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Seymour, IN to safeguard clients across various industries. In this role you will conduct patrols, remain visible to deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service while upholding company values.

The position is full time, with daytime shifts and a pay rate of $13.75 per hour. A background check and drug screen are required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and report concerns involving visitors, deliveries, and/or restricted areas.
• Support order at an automotive location by observing facility activity, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders related to shifts, traffic flow, and after-hours coverage.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
