Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Alarm Response in Kutztown, PA. The role offers flexible shifts with anchor schedules and opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials, and maintain documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving and notify appropriate contacts.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or unsecured areas per site procedures.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.


• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, unsecured doors or gates, and other security‑related concerns in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
