Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Sparks, NV at a technology data center location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide customer service, and use technology to document security-related activities.

The role offers a competitive pay rate of $25.21 per hour, a standard full-time schedule, and opportunities for training, advancement, and benefits through Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures and site policies at a data center.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, perimeter, access points and parking areas.
• Monitor access activity and follow visitor, contractor, and delivery protocols per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate when needed.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation and shift communications with accurate details.

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a data center location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, perimeter, access points, and parking areas to help identify unusual conditions and support site operations.
• Monitor access activity and follow visitor, contractor, and delivery protocols in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications with accurate details.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
