As a Security Officer Unarmed Response Driver in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, monitor access points, and support a professional environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM; Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and driver credentials in accordance with site procedures, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, damaged property, access‑control concerns, and other security‑related incidents to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting activities and incidents according to site‑specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X‑Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
