Job summary

Allied Universal, Saint Joseph, MO, is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer Patrol Specialist to monitor and safeguard client sites in manufacturing and industrial locations. You will perform routine rounds, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires filing clear reports, communicating observations to site contacts, and upholding site policies. Pay is $15.50 per hour with defined evening and weekend shifts.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Saint Joseph, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat – 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun – 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activity in clear and accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
