Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Mountain Top, PA to patrol and protect a food and beverage location, provide customer service, and report observations. The role emphasizes calm incident response, visible presence, and adherence to site procedures.

The position is full-time with a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift from Monday to Friday. A high school diploma is required, along with background checks and a drug screen. Licenses as needed for the state may apply.

• Monitor access points, visitor/contractor entry, deliveries, and vehicle traffic per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to relevant personnel.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor and contractor entry, deliveries, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
