Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Presence Specialist in Los Angeles, CA. This part-time position offers a 4-hour evening shift schedule across multiple days and a pay rate of $23.02 per hour, with opportunities to gain experience in a dynamic, customer-focused security team.

You will deter incidents with visible presence, perform routine patrols, verify credentials, respond to alarms, and document all findings for site management and leadership.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials or visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
