Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site policies and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
