Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Full Time in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, teamwork, and the caring, reliable approach that defines Allied Universal.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as directed, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
