Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wright, WY. You will serve and safeguard clients across utilities locations, conduct routine unarmed vehicle patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity.

This is a full-time role with a pay rate of $17.30 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required, and candidates must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles).

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license, at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles), and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required prior to employment.

• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency protocols and notify relevant personnel.
• Prepare clear reports and logs, communicating hazards or concerns to site leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility operations location while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security‑related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
