As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM


• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter.


• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.


• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
