Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for morning shifts in Phoenix, AZ. You will monitor and safeguard client locations at a retail distribution site, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

As part of a fast-paced team, you will perform site-specific procedures, respond to alarms, conduct patrols, verify credentials, and document incidents, while upholding a welcoming environment and strong integrity.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, and vehicle traffic; verify credentials and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Morningsin Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail distribution center, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
