Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and disruptions, reporting and escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of transportation facilities and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions and report observations to site personnel or emergency responders.
• Direct visitors and passengers, maintaining professionalism and supporting orderly operations.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a transportation-focused government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, platforms, public areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, unattended items, and access-control concerns, and promptly report observations to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Assist with directing visitors and passengers, maintaining a professional presence, and supporting orderly operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
