Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Unarmed) for full-time work at client sites across various industries. The role requires a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and an active MD Unarmed Guard Card. You must be able to stand/walk for long periods and work outside in the elements.

Starting pay is $21.25 per hour with health and welfare benefits. Training programs are provided to elevate your skills and career opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of security experience (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by enforcing safety and security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the client site and perimeter.

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
