Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Cleared Security Professional for the Myrtle Beach, SC site. You will protect personnel and information with specialized site training for your clearance level. This full-time role offers growth in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

Starting base pay is $18.25 per hour with opportunities for weekly or DailyPay. Must be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, and have 1+ year security experience along with strong customer service and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid US driver’s license with clean driving record.
• US citizenship required to obtain government clearance; may require specific citizenship documents.
• Within 90 days, obtain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services to safeguard personnel, property and information.
• Conduct patrols on foot, bicycle, or vehicle around the facility.
• Preserve order and enforce site rules and directives.
• Greet guests, escort visitors, secure ingress/egress and classified information.
• Follow post orders and report safety concerns or incidents promptly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
• Greeting guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escorting visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
• Follow-site specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via oral and written communication; interacting with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess a valid Driver’s Licensewith at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
• Possess, or be able to successfully complete within 90 days of assignment, certification in:
  • First Aid
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance of America and possess one of the following:
  • S. Passport
  • Certified copy of U.S. birth certificate
  • Certified copy of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) (Form FS-240)
  • Certificate of U.S. Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561)
  • Certificate of U.S. Naturalization (Form N-550 or N-570)
• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Minimum of 1 (1) years of previous security experience
  • Minimum of 1 (1) years of service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian)
  • Verifiable work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting field
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; must be abletoarticulateandwrite clear and concise incident or situation reports

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
