Allied Universal in St. Francisville, LA is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a flex role. Shifts vary from 8 to 12 hours with pay of $20.00 per hour, weekly.

You will assist staff and visitors, maintain a visible security presence, observe and report incidents, and monitor entryways to ensure safety. Minimums include 18+ years old (21+ for armed roles), high school diploma or 5 years’ verifiable experience, background check, drug screen, and a valid Louisiana driver's license where

Qualifications

• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; valid driver’s license for driving positions only

Job Description

POSITION: Unarmed Security officer- Flex role

LOCATION: St. Francisville / Zip Code : 70775

SHIFT: Flex (must be able to work any shift, any time)

SCHEDULE: 8 to 12-hr shifts

PAY $20.00 / per hour / pays weekly

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Assist staff and visitors

• Maintaining a visible presence to deter and detect any suspicious activity.

• Observe and reportincidents and disturbances while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

• Monitoring entryways and exits; conducting regular checks on property security systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Law enforcement or military - first consideration
• Stand / walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in the elements as needed
• 21+ Years of Age
• Security Experience - 1-2 Years
• Valid Louisiana Driver's License - must have a clean record, no flags or suspensions

First interview will be a phone interview followed by an in-person interview.

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
