Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for Full Time Patrol Observation at our distribution site in Disputanta, VA. The role involves unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

You will respond to incidents, monitor access points, and document activities per site procedures while upholding Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and manage emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouses, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents and security-related activities through required reports.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Disputanta, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate clearly, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe employee, visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, irregular conditions, and security-related activities through required reports and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
