Tarian Group is seeking Security Officers to support safety and security operations at client sites in Colorado. The role involves patrolling, access control, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, and assisting customers while adapting to site-specific requirements.

Responsibilities include reporting, responding to emergencies, and ensuring adherence to site SOPs. This position may require weekends, holidays, and outdoor duties in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid High School Diploma or GED.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must possess a valid State-issued Driver's license.
• Ability to conduct extended foot patrols and climb stairs.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and work outside in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site patrols on foot or by vehicle.
• Control access to facilities and verify authorized personnel.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems; respond to incidents.
• Execute emergency protocols and drills as required.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports; track details.
• Provide escort details and perimeter checks as needed.
• Perform other duties per SOPs.

Position Summary

Security Officers perform the following tasks under the direct supervision of their Site Supervisor or Manager there schedule is subject to change based on site needs. Conducting routine patrols of the site which they are assigned either by foot or patrol vehicle. Performs access control functions to the facility and our buildings. Protects client property and personnel as per the site standard operating procedures. Monitors CCTV and alarm systems as needed. Implement emergency protocols and drills as needed and or required. the client and community.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to the facility ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted on site.
• Maintain surveillance of the site to ensure the perimeter and our buildings remain secure.
• Monitors CCTV, Fire, & Security systems
• Conducts routine patrols of the property to identify security risks, safety hazards, and maintenance issues.
• Completes daily activity reports, Incident reports, and other mandated reports per job assignment and post orders Utilizing Track Tick
• Officers may provide escort details and perimeter fence checks as requested.
• Other duties assigned as per the Standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required for this position upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.

• Must have a valid High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a Security Officer, Police officer, or Military experience preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays on your respective shift assignment.
• Must possess a Valid State issued Driver's license.
• Must have the ability to conduct extended foot patrols.
• Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations as per operating procedures.
• Ability to hear & see in low light situations.
• Ability to lift twenty pounds (specific site requirements may vary)
• Capable of working outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Capable of comprehending site-specific policies and standard operating procedures and the ability to implement such as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
