Qualifications

• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and other incidents following site procedures.
• Maintains Basic First Aid and CPR certifications.

  Monitors entrances and exits; acts to prevent unauthorized entry; controls entrances, the movement of people and vehicles and parking; operates gate and examines vehicle contents; monitors remote entrances using closed circuit television; and operates remote access devices.

  Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle to ensure a secure work environment; checks for unsafe conditions. Hazards inspect High Risk areas, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons; inspects buildings and grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.

  Prepares logs or reports as required for site; writes or types reports or enters information in a computer using standard grammar; inspects security control logs and takes required action as required by Client's Global Security standards.

  Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations, sets up barriers and signage and provides direction or information of others.

  Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents or conditions following procedures established for the site and commensurate with their level of training.

  Maintains Basic First Aid and CPR certifications.

  Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements.

Work Environment and Schedule

• Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.


• Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.


• Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed(overtime occurs).


• Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned.
