Job summary

Allied Universal Geismar, LA is seeking a Security Officer-TWIC to protect a refinery/petrochem site. The role requires 1+ year of security experience and a valid TWIC card. You will perform patrols, manage access control, and respond to incidents while working outdoors in various weather conditions.

The position is full-time, pays $15.00 per hour with weekly pay, and includes benefits. Candidates must stand/walk for extended periods and pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security experience.
• Valid TWIC card required.
• Clean driver's license (no flags or suspensions).
• Comfortable using computers/tablets for gate access.
• Experience in badging and access control.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce safety and security procedures per site policies and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; duties vary by client site.

SITE: RefineryPetrochem TWIC Site

POSITION: Security Officer-TWIC

PAY: $15.00/ HOUR / PAYS WEEKLY

SCHEDULE: FULL TIME

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 YEAR OR MORE SECURITY EXPERIENCE
• HAVE A VALID TWIC CARD
• CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE (NO FLAGS OR SUSPENSIONS)
• MUST BE COMFORTABLE USING COMPUTERS/TABLETS FOR GATE ACCESS
• EXPERIENCE IN BADGING AND ACCESS CONTROL
• ABLE TO STAND AND WALK FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME
• ABLE TO WORK OUTDOORS IN THE ELEMENTS

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
