Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while enforcing site-specific access-control procedures and security policies at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Verify authorization for entry, issue and recover visitor/contractor credentials, maintain access logs, and direct individuals to check-in, escort, and restricted-area processes.
• Monitor access-control systems, alarms, cameras, and communications equipment; report irregularities and equipment concerns according to procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving, and coordination with emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Verify authorization for entry, issue and recover visitor and contractor credentials, maintain access logs, and direct individuals to appropriate check-in, escort, and restricted-area processes.
• Monitor access-control systems, alarms, cameras, and communications equipment; report irregularities, unauthorized-access attempts, and equipment concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities and communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
