Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Credential Verification Security Officer in Elwood, IL. You will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment, monitor entry points, verify access, and assist visitors and staff at a retail location.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule and opportunities to claim additional shifts via the Claim a Shift platform, with emphasis on safety, professionalism, and teamwork.

Qualificações

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Part Time Credential Verification in Elwood, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment at a retail location by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and assisting visitors, employees, and vendors. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally, document activity using computer or tablet tools, and support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
