Walden Security in Nashville, TN is seeking dedicated Armed and Unarmed Security Officers to join our team. You will help protect facilities, staff, and visitors while delivering professional customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment.

We offer entry-level training and will assist you in obtaining and maintaining a Tennessee security license. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to stand or walk for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; security training a plus.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, incidents, or hazards.
• Enforce company policies including access control and visitor management.
• Provide directions to staff and visitors as needed.
• Respond to emergencies, including medical situations, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify security risks.
