Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hosting an in-person hiring event for Security Officer positions in SeaTac, WA. Please bring a resume and wear business casual attire. The wage range is $21.75–$26.00 per hour, with interviews at 17930 International Blvd, Suite 550, SeaTac, WA 98188.

Event runs Wednesday, August 19, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Training paths and development tools are provided, with strong benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
