Allied Universal is hiring a Cleared Security Officer - Unarmed for Seal Beach, California. A Top Secret clearance is required. Pay rate is $32.43 per hour, with health insurance, 401k, ongoing paid training and career growth opportunities.

You will provide high-quality security services, patrol the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle, greet guests, escort visitors, report incidents, respond to alarms, and act as a first responder according to site orders.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) clearance or eligibility.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Prior DoD-cleared site experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services for personnel, property, and information.

Hiring for a Security Officer Top Secret Clearance Required – Unarmed

Must Have Active Top Secret Clearance

• Pay-rate is $32.43 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:

• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
• Prior military experience

Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
