Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a temporary full-time assignment at our Belvidere, IL site. The role includes patrolling, monitoring systems, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently on a 3rd shift schedule. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and more. Licensing # 123.000258.

Competenze

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Stay calm under pressure and be vigilant during shift.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Strong observational skills and communication abilities.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
