Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming front desk presence for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor management, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, issuing badges, maintaining entry records, and directing guests to contacts or locations.
• Respond to incidents and escalations in a calm, professional manner, following site procedures.
• Monitor front desk communications, route calls, report unusual activity, and document daily activity and incidents.

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badging, monitor alarm panels, and support a professional, secure environment. You will use computer or tablet systems, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with employees and guests. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Tue: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Wed: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thur: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Fri: 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide a professional, welcoming front desk presence for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor management protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining entry records, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or locations.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor front desk communications, receive and route calls, report unusual activity, and maintain accurate daily activity and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
