Job summary

GardaWorld Security is hiring a casual Response Security Officer in Ocala, FL. The role varies daily across customer service, patrols, and surveillance, with shifts 4:00 pm - Midnight and/or Midnight - 8:00 AM.

Competitive hourly wage of $20.00/hr and DailyPay option for GardaWorld employees. Responsibilities include monitoring, patrols, access control, incident response, reporting, and collaboration with authorities to protect people and property.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You must have your FL security D license
• This is a Driving Post. You must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents

As a casual Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.
