Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex - Site Vehicle Patrol in San Diego, CA. This role involves patrolling designated areas on foot or in a vehicle, monitoring for security concerns, and responding to incidents.

Expect 30–40 hours weekly with shifts that vary; you can pick up shifts via Earn More, Claim-A‑Shift. This position offers pathways for advancement, paid training, and benefits.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license required.
• Available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screening may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect assets and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
