Responsibilities

• Maintain overtime at minimal levels as designated.
• Inspect security personnel and performance to ensure contract compliance.
• Manage incident response, CCTV monitoring and patrols.
• Liaise with on-site manager and staff to provide guidance and receive feedback.
• Develop and enforce site policies and post orders.
• Keep records of security-related incidents and actions.
• Coordinate with security managers to train staff and implement new procedures.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

• Supervisory Experience (C136) Candidates must have prior supervisory experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. This includes experience in overseeing daily operations, providing guidance to team members, and ensuring that team goals are met.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for various tasks, including but not limited to, email communication, data entry, and utilizing company software. Familiarity with basic software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) is essential.

• Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates must possess a background in customer service, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and resolve issues efficiently. This experience should reflect strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

• The Security Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations at a designated location. This role involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for visitors and employees, monitoring security systems, and responding to security incidents.
• A security site supervisor manages a team of security personnel to ensure a safe environment and protect people and resources. Their responsibilities include:

• Hiring and training
• Interviewing, hiring, and training security staff, including new hires and current staff. Training topics may include workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and safety and security topics.
• Scheduling
• Overseeing the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff.
• Performance monitoring
• Monitoring performance and conducting daily briefings. This may include accompanying guards on patrols to assess their performance and verify adherence to security rules.
• Incident response
• Responding to incidents, monitoring CCTV and security systems, and performing regular patrols to identify potential breaches.
• Liaison
• Liaising with the on-site manager and staff to provide advice and receive feedback.
• Policies and procedures
• Establishing and carrying out policies and procedures required by the organization.
• Record keeping
• Keeping diligent records to document all security-related instances that occur at their place of employment.
• Training programs
• Working with security managers to create training programs so that all security guards can have the knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities.
• Continuous training
• Giving continuous training for current equipment or instructing employees on how to use newly adopted technology

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all Allied Universal®. personnel assigned to his/her site)
• Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
• Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS
• Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift
• Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)
• Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.
• Respond to client requests
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
• Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE)

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
• Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
• Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
• Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
• Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
• Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
