The position is full-time with a pay rate of $25.74 per hour, requiring a minimum of 2 years security experience and an active DoD Secret clearance. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred, and age requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Age 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, billing operations spaces, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter, as permitted by site procedures.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and facility conditions to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Emergency Response in MANASSAS, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help support a professional environment through routine observations, access-related responsibilities, and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
